Thompson Miller & Simpson PLC (“TMS”) provides litigation services to a wide range
of healthcare providers and product manufacturers. The firm, which recently celebrated
its tenth anniversary, was founded by partners from the litigation departments of
two large regional law firms. The founders of TMS have over 60 years of experience
in defending medical malpractice and product liability cases, and collectively have
tried over 150 jury trials.
TMS represents physicians, hospitals, medical centers, and nursing homes nationally
and throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The firm also provides local, regional,
and national representation to pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers,
as well as manufacturers of other products. TMS also defends attorneys in legal
malpractice cases. The firm’s attorneys have defended a number of complex matters,
including high-profile cases that have generated significant publicity, and TMS
lawyers have tried jury trials in ten states.

Thompson Miller & Simpson is moving. As of January 2010, the firm’s offices will be in the newly renovated Kentucky Opera Building. Located on Museum Row at 734 West Main Street, the historic building will also house The Museum District Business Center, Video Court Reporting Service, and Louis & Henry, an architecture firm. Thompson Miller & Simpson will occupy the top three floors of the building.
