Ian C. B. Davis, Partner

Ian has over ten years of experience in civil defense litigation and medical malpractice litigation.

He graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South (2005), receiving summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors. He is also a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law (2009), where he was a published member of the Kentucky Law Journal. Upon graduation, Ian joined the Louisville firm of Boehl, Stopher & Graves, where he practiced civil defense litigation.

In 2013, Ian joined Thompson, Miller & Simpson, defending healthcare providers and corporations in medical negligence and corporate negligence matters in Kentucky state and federal courts, as well as numerous other state courts.

He currently serves on the board of the Second Presbyterian Weekday School. He has also volunteered for Legal Aid Society’s Domestic Violence Advocacy Program and Project H.E.L.P.

Ian and his wife, Ellie, have three children and two dogs.
